I have a Yamaha 3067 and I listen to CD quality flac (44.1 KHz/16 bit) via a hard disk formatted in FAT 32 format. I connect this HDD to my PC or MAC and rip the audio cd to flac files. This HDD is then connected to the Yamaha 3067 using the front USB port and I can play the songs directly.
All is fine for CD quality flac. The problem begins when I want to play highres flac. I have got some highres flac files now (96 KHz/ 24 bits) and these would not play in my Yamaha 3067. Now as I understand the Yamaha supports only upto 44.1 16 flac.
Now I am wondering what is the best way to enjoy the high res flac with out downsampling. Any pointers would be appreciated.
