Microsoft just released a beta Remote Desktop Connection Client (RDP client) for the Mac. Remote Desktop Connection Client lets you connect to a Microsoft Windows-based computer and work with. For Mac OS X 10.11 you need definitely an older version than Microsoft Remote Desktop 10! I would need at least the Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.1, but I can't get it anywhere. I tried it on a MacMini with Mac OS 10.14 Mojave and Microsoft Remote Desktop 10 and it worked immediately.
